Jamaican dub pioneer and legend, Scientist teams up with Boom One Sound System on this project to produce “Ancient Scrolls”. The BOSS vocal track is Sterling Saw’s arrangement of a poem by one of his long time compadres, Ras Itani. General Coldhand also adds a conscious roots verse to “Ancient Scrolls” at the bridge. Remix translations of “Ancient Scrolls” by Scientist, and various others are brought together on this digital EP. Other Boom One Records family artists involved include Piper Street Sound, Dubsmith, Elder, and Dialect Trio.
Boom One Sound System, B. Davis and Dubsmith team up for this heavy Rootstep, Rockers and glitched Dubtronic digital 45. Boom One Sound System’s version is foundation roots reggae in style and vocals, but mixed with a thick dose of low end wobble. It’s sure shake the dancehall. The Dubsmith remix is a 16bit glitched, dubtronic version with B. Davis’ sweet vocals riding the beat.

The Rootstep version is a fusion of Culture, Steppers and grimy deep end wobble.
